Depending on the error you get when trying to log-in to your FriendFilter account, there are different troubleshooting solutions.


⚠️ Error #1 - ‘Facebook username changed, please inform support of your new username'

✅Solution: Check your Username in Settings

➡️ If the FriendFilter username matches your correct Facebook username, but you are still getting this error message:

  1. Log out of Facebook
  2. Follow these instructions to clear your browser cache
  3. Login to Facebook and FriendFilter again.

➡️If you recently changed your Facebook username, please contact support at help@friendfilter.com to inform us of the correct profile username and we can get that updated for you!


⚠️ Error #2 - “Facebook Login Required! Ensure Facebook is Authenticated”

✅Solution

➡️ Check if you are properly logged in on Facebook. If not, please log in.

➡️ If you are logged in and still getting error message:

  1. Log out of Facebook
  2. Follow these instructions to clear your browser cache
  3. Login to Facebook and FriendFilter again.

                    ➡️ If you've cleared cache and still getting error message:

  1. Reinstall the FriendFilter extension
  2. Login to Facebook and FriendFilter again.
